Runset

Websites that take bookings. AI work that ships.

Runset does two things for US businesses: build the site and wire the booking flow behind it, and run scoped AI delivery for software firms. We work in weeks, we name what we’re delivering, and we like the jobs that don’t fit a template.

Two lines of work

ASites & booking≈ 2 weeksA site people trust and a booking flow that actually reaches a calendar.BAI consulting2–4 weeksAn audit, a working proof of concept, and a handoff your team can carry.→How we workWritten scope first. Then the work.

An unusual booking flow, tools nobody has connected before, a business that works differently from everyone else’s, those are the ones we most want to hear about.

Sites and booking, wired end to end.

Most small-business sites fail at the last step. The pages look fine, then the only way to book is a phone number and an inbox nobody watches on a Saturday.

We build the site in English, then wire the booking behind it: the form reaches a real calendar, the customer gets a confirmation, and the record lands somewhere you can read later. Automation runs on n8n by default, Zapier when you already pay for it.

If your bookings work differently from everyone else’s (deposits, crews, seasonal rates, a two-hour turnaround), tell us early. That’s the part of the job worth doing well.

What happens behind it

1

Request

A visitor picks a service and a time. One form, no account.

2

Calendar

The slot is written to the calendar your staff open every morning.

3

Confirmation

The customer gets an email, or an SMS if you want it.

4

Record

The booking lands in a sheet or light CRM, so you can count last month.

You’re confirmed for Thu, 10:30. Reply C to cancel.Example confirmation

Why not just Squarespace and Calendly?

Often that is the right answer, and we will tell you so. One service, one person delivering it, a price that never moves: an off-the-shelf tool costs a fraction of what we do and is genuinely enough.

What we build is shaped around how you already work. Those tools ask you to change your process until it fits the software. We go the other way: the deposit rule, the crews, the seasonal rate, the turnaround that blocks the next slot stay exactly as your business runs them, and the software is built around that. What a boat rental needs is not what a clinic needs.

Those tools assume every business books the same way. They hold up until yours doesn’t, and then the work quietly moves back to the phone and the inbox. That gap is the whole job we do.

Where they start to break

  • A deposit has to clear before the slot is held
  • Staff, rooms, boats or chairs to allocate, not just a calendar
  • Rates that move with the season, or a turnaround that blocks the next slot
  • The booking has to reach the software you already run on

AI work your team can run without us.

Some problems need more than a booking form. We also do the heavier work, explained in plain words.

Scoped in one or two sessions, built into your stack, and handed over with code and a walkthrough your team can carry.

What we can build

Machine learningSoftware that learns from your past data to predict what comes next, like no-shows or a busy week.
RAGAn assistant that answers from your own documents and records, not from the open internet.
Process miningA map of how work really moves through your tools, so you can see where it gets stuck.

How an engagement runs

1.0

Discovery

One or two working sessions with the people who own the workflow.

2.0

Scope

A written scope with named deliverables and a date. You approve it before work starts.

3.0

Build

Audit, proof of concept, integration work, whatever the scope actually says.

4.0

Handoff

Documentation, code, and a walkthrough. Your team runs it after we go.

What we take on

  • ✓Showcase sites in English for US businesses
  • ✓Booking flows wired to a real calendar
  • ✓Automation between the tools you already pay for
  • ✓Scoped AI workshops and integration plans
  • ✓Implementation support with a written handoff

Bring us the awkward one

  • A booking flow nobody sells off the shelf
  • Tools that were never meant to talk to each other
  • A process that lives in one person’s head
  • A deadline other people have already turned down
  • An industry we haven’t worked in yet

Ask before you decide it’s too odd. The strange jobs are the ones we learn most from, and they usually turn out to be smaller than they look.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask.

The ones that come up in the first email, answered here so you don’t have to send it. If yours isn’t here, ask it directly, you’ll get the same kind of answer.

What does it cost?+

We quote per scope, not per hour, and the quote arrives with the deliverable list attached, so you can see what each part buys you. Tell us which line you need and the date it has to be done by, and a figure comes back.

My business is unusual. Is that a problem?+

It’s usually the reason to call. Off-the-shelf booking tools assume everyone books the same way, and the businesses they fail are the ones with a real operation behind the counter. Describe how yours actually runs, that’s the interesting part.

I already have a site. Can you just do the booking?+

Often, yes. If your site can host a form and your calendar has an API or an email hook, the automation stands on its own, and that’s a smaller, cheaper project than a rebuild. We’ll say plainly which one you actually need.

Who does the work?+

We do, the people you talk to are the people building it. That’s the advantage of working with a small team: the feedback loop is a message, not a ticket queue.

Do you work outside the US?+

The offers and the automation defaults are built for US businesses, so that’s where we work best. Ask anyway if you’re elsewhere, if the work fits, geography rarely turns out to be the obstacle.

Who is behind this

A small team from Italy, building for American businesses.

Runset LLC is registered in Florida. The work is done between Tampa Bay and Milan.

That is part of the offer rather than a caveat. The day starts here while the US is still dark, so what you sign off at the end of yours is usually already moving. Calls are offered in your timezone, never ours, and you will always know which person you are talking to.

How we run a project

Iliano Fasolino builds the work you would be buying. He publishes research in association with the University of Milan, on natural language processing and retrieval-augmented generation, on machine learning for audio, and on assistive technology. Research is not a side interest here: it is where the judgement about what will actually hold in production comes from.

Some of it ships. Tact turns a typed line into a braille page with a raised illustration a child can print at home, free and public, and it exists because a paper was not the end of the job.

Small does not mean starting from nothing. Iliano is the AI engineer at Faraday AI Studio in Rome, an OpenAI Select Partner, and Runset is built on that footing.

If your problem is the awkward one nobody wants to quote, that is the one worth bringing. It is usually the reason the last three vendors said no.

Start with the hard part.

Lead with the bit you think can’t be done, the booking rule that breaks every tool, the workflow nobody has automated. One message and you’ll get back what it takes, what it costs, and when it’s done.
